Amitha Sanka is a senior at Del Norte High School. She is part of her school’s track and field team and is part of multiple clubs at her school, such as Letters for Rose. Amitha is the San Diego-based Co-founder of Letters for Rose, where she helps collect letters and artwork to send to elders in senior citizen homes. Some of her favorite pastimes are painting and playing tennis as well as the piano. She has a strong interest in business and art. In addition, as a member, Amitha hopes to have a positive influence in her community through volunteering and being a part of SD Nari’s Youth Committee!
