Meet the Team
Director of Membership Engagement
Harini leads our membership team with over eighteen years of community-building experience in the non-profit sector. She manages member & vendor relations, educational & fun member programs, and our membership drive. Her day-to-day work focuses on making sure every member feels valued and deeply connected to our cause.
Membership Secretary
Akhilesh keeps our community connected. As Membership Secretary, he manages new member sign-ups, answers questions, and keeps our member records up to date.

Vineeta works with Akhilesh in maintaining the membership lists up to date with reminders for renewals. She believes deeply in our mission and loves welcoming new faces to our group. When she is not tracking memberships, Vineeta enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

Ramesh is a is a dedicated financial strategist and community advocate. With over 45 years of experience in corporate marketing management, finance and accounting, Ramesh brings rigorous fiscal oversight, budgeting expertise, and a passion for sustainable community growth to our team.

Sudha manages our member community and helps supporters stay connected to our mission. On any given day, she answers member questions, coordinates membership events and welcomes our newest community advocates. She retired from running a successful business and is a great team player who loves engaging with new people. She is also actively involved in our senior JJ team.

Jamuna, a new volunteer, is excited to be a part of this community. She enjoys meeting new people, building meaningful connections and contributing her time and skills to causes that make a positive difference. She is our online tech support & an IT professional.

Subha is a senior program manager in the biotech industry. She is honored to be a part of an organization that supports, empowers and strengthens women & families in our community. She hopes to contribute her time, compassion and willingness to help wherever needed, while learning & growing in the SD Nari community.

Arpana recently moved to San Diego from Ann Arbor, MI. She currently volunteers with Crisis Text Line, providing text-based mental health and crisis support. Prior to that, she volunteered with YWCA San Jose, supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to empathetic listening, compassionate support, and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel heard and supported during challenging times.
