Bridging the Gap Between Generations:
SDNari Youth Panel
As deeply as parents love their children, there seems to be a significant gap in understanding and communication between the two generations. The differences in how each generation was raised often create barriers rather than bridges. For Indian American teenagers like us, the added challenge of navigating differing cultural expectations can widen that gap even further.
In an effort to find a solution, we, the SD Nari Youth Committee, hope to bridge that gap. We have created this forum to promote a positive, candid, and interactive intergenerational discussion on various issues affecting Indian American youth today. Through open conversation, we aim to discover ways to improve communication and cultivate healthier, stronger relationships.
An Open Invitation
Participants of all ages and all genders are welcome and encouraged to attend! Whether you are a teenager, young adult, parent, or grandparent, your voice and perspective are essential to this conversation.
